According to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), 12.4 percent of Rhode Islanders, over 54,200 households, are food insecure, meaning they are often unsure where their next meal will come from due to lack of resources.
Do your part this month by supporting our food drive for the RI Food Bank. Bring anything from the below list to the clinic from February 9th to February 15th and we will donate an additional $1 per item collected. We are only accepting items from the below list suggested by the RI Food Bank!
You can bring:
Peanut Butter
Tuna
Canned Beans
Canned soup
Brown Rice
Breakfast cereals
Tomato sauce
Granola bars
Boxed Macaroni and Cheese
Whole wheat pasta
Please only donate healthy, nutritious food that is in good condition and “in date.” Expired foods, homemade products, and glass jars of baby food will not be accepted.
Community health and healing takes many forms: we hope you can join us this month in doing your part to help fight hunger in Rhode Island.
