About these trainings
The People’s Organization of Community Acupuncture (POCA) is a non-profit organization that sponsors AAT trainings across North America as part of its mission to support affordable and accessible acupuncture. Certified AATs, AATs in training and AAT trainers stay connected via POCA’s monthly newsletter, website, virtual and in person organizing and events.
This training requires 15 hours of online self-study and 20 hours of in-person hands-on training which consists of 2-days of in-person classroom time and supervised practice clinics. You will likely need to attend 1-2 follow up practice clinics to complete all 40 supervised treatments. For more information about this training, please see FAQs.
Fees: Registration for the training is on a sliding scale from $350 to $450 and includes both online and in-person training. Payment can be made with credit card, check or cash. If your employer is paying for your attendance, we can invoice them.
PLEASE NOTE: A current People’s Organization of Community Acupuncture (POCA) membership is required for your attendance at this training and is a separate $50 fee paid directly to POCA via their website. JOIN POCA as an AAT member HERE.
